About a Monster

Aug 17, 2017

Don't look her in the eyes

Don't look it in the eyes,

It might turn me,

It could be contagious,

My monster may come on out just like her's.

It was unexpected,

But was it,

I had warned in the beginning,

But was told it was my fears, imagination, mental illness.

The tables have turned now,

She seems mentally unstable at times,

She says she's sick,

But is that an excuse to run over those who helped rebuild you?

How do you trust that again,

Live with it day in and day out,

Pretend it never happened,

I really did care.....
