A wish that came true

I never thought it would

By Fatemeh AzimiPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

You were a nice person

You had difficult times while you grew up

Many enemies,

people you thought were your enemies,

but they weren’t

What you said to me

made it hard for me to believe and to breathe.

You loved me, and I loved you too

Forgive me for making that wish that came true,

because I never thought it would.

And now that you are gone,

before I could even say goodbye,

I’m left with the guilt

and the wish that came true

one I never thought ever would.
