A waiting love

awaiting love

I'm anticipating the arrival of love,

A place that at last I'll call home,

I'm hoping for everything and above,

A partner with whom all my dreams will roam.

The nights out, the flowers, and gifts galore,

These are the little things that make me glad,

I won't settle for anything less, I implore,

A life of bliss, which won't make me sad.

I desire a partner full of love and care,

One who will be the best dad for our kids,

Together, we'll make a life, so rare,

A bond that's solid as stones but without any strict grids.

And so, I'm waiting for a heartfelt proposal,

A love that will flourish, a life full of charm,

For the one who will sweep me off my toes,

A romance that will be an unbreakable arm.
