A Very Confusing Thing

The Fairy Plight

To have the gift of fairy sight

To have the gift of fairy flight

To have the gift of fairy might

To have the gift of fairy light

To have the gift of fairy fight

Is a very confusing thing

So heed now my fairy plight

Lest you think it pure delight

And forget to hold your fairy tight

On those long, dark, cold fairy nights

Such a very confusing thing

Be sure to treat your fairy right

And create not a fairy slight

'Cause woe to them who catch the fairy's spite

Such a very confusing thing

So treat the well thy little sprite

Do not neglect and they won't bite

Then you will find your fairy not quite

A very confusing thing
