A Song of Sea
The Sea is Generous and yet Dangerous
A Song of the Sea
The sea is a wonder, vast and free
A song of the ocean, a melody
Of waves that crash and shorelines kissed
By a saltwater breeze, never missed
The sea sings a story, old and true
Of sailors lost and treasures anew
Of mermaids that swim and sirens that call
Of secrets kept safe in the ocean's thrall
The sea is a world, wild and untamed
A canvas of blue, never to be tamed
Where life thrives in every form
From tiny plankton to great whales born
The sea is a force, mighty and strong
A tempest of rage, a lullaby's song
Of currents that guide and storms that rage
Of sunsets that paint the ocean's stage
The sea is a memory, etched in time
A reminder of the world's ancient rhyme
Of life's beginning and ending too
Of journeys embarked and dreams pursued
So let us all hear the sea's sweet call
And follow her song, one and all
For the sea is a wonder, vast and free
A song of the ocean, a melody.
