A Rose Is A Rose, And Love Is Love

You say I'm a wild card;

Wild at heart;

A jokester of some sort

Right from the start;

But what you don't know

Is that you were just not in it

To claim this prize

Of taming my

Wild heart;

Of settling down

My free spirit;

Or of curving around

My livid noises,

Can you hear it?

The swoosh and hooves across the plain-

Old genuine me.

I've always told my family

I would never marry

And I meant it;

But this one's for the long haul;

He's really into it.

Settle up or settle down,

What's really in a frown?

To read a book

You have to look

Into the soul

Of a genuine and real

Woman;

Of a girl with a wild heart

And a running start

To freedom from her scars.

Twill be then when you will know

Of a gentle soul

And of a queen

All on her own...
