Thoughts to Poems

I feel empty

My mind is as chaotic as the drawers in my closet

Filled to the brim by the necessities to live a thorough life

My body is on autopilot

But my mind stops at every miniscule detail

I notice everything

To watch the tiny ant crawl up the step

Only to realize there is another

To clean the window and stare at the reflection

The empty eyes

How is it possible to feel clean

When the world is so, so dirty

Can’t I make my body stop

Make my thoughts catch up

Let me breathe

I am empty inside
