A Random Act of Madness
Somebody's moment of madness can have major changes on you.
I.
A Random act of madness,
many miles away.
But the mildness
of my world changed that day.
II.
The phone call
revealed,
exposing all
once concealed.
III.
Somebody called the Service
(mandated to report).
Now they’re coming for us
and consider taking us to court.
IV.
They came for the boys
and marred my love
as they unleashed their dangerous toys
that rained poisoned arrows from above.
V.
My world on hold.
Abuse enters in.
I have to be bold
in the face of my love’s sin.
VI.
My head spins
upon the news.
My life full of wins
now become the blues.
VII.
I’ll have to fly soon
to be the hero
For the meeting happens at noon
Before my family becomes zero.
VIII.
I put on a brave face
through the rest of the day.
But my heart’s in space
as I sink in the dampened clay.
IX.
This random act of madness
committed by my love,
has unleashed life’s dark wildness.
And now kills the dove.
X.
Gone is life’s peace.
And in comes chaos and fight.
But bravery must be release
or let life go to night.
