A Prayer to the Midnight Sun

An Acrostic Poem

By Kyle HulbertPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Encroaching Shadow, glorious Midnight Sun

Come forth, Luna, for Sol's time is done!

Let us see–however brief–Your sable face

Instead of the silver so often in its place

Praise the Darkness, let us Your touch embrace

Smother daylight and let the shadows play

Eternity is now, when the Moon makes night of day
