A Poetic Protest Against Climate Change

"Verses of Urgency and Hope for a Planet in Peril"

By Aranna Hasan Delwar Published 4 months ago 1 min read

In the dance of nature, a warning rings,

A plea for action as the planet sings.

Icebergs weep, their tears in the sea,

A symphony of change, a desperate plea.

Forests whisper of impending doom,

Their emerald hues fading in nature's tomb.

Rising tides caress shores with disdain,

A world in peril, a relentless reign.

Oceans heave with plastic and despair,

As creatures suffer, gasping for air.

Mountains crumble, glaciers retreat,

A silent protest in the planet's heartbeat.

Let the winds carry a call to arms,

To shield the Earth from impending harms.

Together we stand, united we fight,

To mend the wounds and set things right.

In the face of warming, we find our voice,

A choice to make, to change or rejoice.

For the threat is real, the urgency clear,

Let us act today, for a future sincere.
