The fear of losing her ended with actually losing her‐

A time where my eyes weren't open to what was in front of me

Now I look for her in everyone that comes after

She found me when I wasn't looking, and gave me everything I didn't know I wanted

She went away- and all of sudden, all the skies were gray

My regrets, lay hidden the text...

I still remember-

The look on her face, even though she looked away

I hate the reminders,

But I love to remember

You're such a sensitive subject-

Feelings that show up uninvited

Killing Me, Softly

Like the sand I'm standing in,

Or a dream I don't want to wake up from

I know-

No one will catch me if I fall for you again

No one will cut the dial tone if I call you again

I still remember-

Every sense,

They're Killing Me, Softly

About the Creator

JM

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
