A Poet’s Heart

In the midst of a world both grand and wide,

I stand, a soul seeking meaning and stride.

What happens when the stage has played its part,

And I return to a world unchanged, unmoved?

The echoes of applause still ring in my ears,

Yet the world around me remains the same,

Unaware of the transformation within,

A metamorphosis concealed in my heart's domain.

I danced under the spotlight's radiant glow,

And reveled in the colors of life's grand show,

But now I'm back in the mundane and routine,

A canvas untouched, waiting to be seen.

Do I fade away like a forgotten dream,

Lost amidst the echoes of applause once loud?

Or do I rise, a phoenix from the ashes,

Embracing the ordinary, finding solace in the crowd?

For the world may not change, but I am transformed,

A tapestry of experiences woven deep,

A mosaic of emotions etched in my soul,

A song of growth that only I can keep.

I find solace in the simple joys of life,

In the laughter shared, the bonds that hold,

For even in a world untouched by my tale,

I find my purpose, my place to unfold.

The world may not always notice my stride,

But I navigate its currents, its ebb and flow,

With eyes wide open, heart beating strong,

I write my story, a journey to bestow.

So let the world remain as it may,

For I am an artist, a poet, a dreamer.

In the ordinary, I find the extraordinary,

In the unchanged, I discover the unseen.

And as I stand here, reflecting on the world,

I realize my place is wherever I choose to be,

For within me resides a universe of possibilities,

A poet's heart, longing to set free.

So let the canvas be mine, the words my brush,

As I paint my existence, vibrant and alive,

For in this dance with life, I am never lost,

In this poem of mine, my spirit shall thrive.
