In the shadows of a weary world, a soul seeks solace true,

A tale of longing, pain, and loss, where tears run deep and blue.

In whispered echoes of the heart, a plea begins to rise,

A melancholic melody, a search for a place to hide.

Once upon a vibrant time, a spirit danced so freely,

A heart adorned with laughter, boundless as the sea.

But life's cruel hand, with callous touch, snatched joy from gentle eyes,

Leaving behind a wounded soul, seeking a place to hide.

A shattered dream, a broken trust, took refuge in their core,

Leaving behind a trembling heart, forever wounded, and sore.

The world became a battleground, a tempest wild and wide,

In this tempest's cruel embrace, a desperate need to hide.

Behind a mask of fleeting smiles, the pain began to grow,

A hollow ache that gnawed within, where only shadows know.

The world outside grew colder still, a place of judgment, pride,

And so the soul, wounded and scarred, yearned for a place to hide.

In quiet corners and empty spaces, a sanctuary sought,

A refuge from the piercing eyes that questioned every thought.

But walls can crumble and echoes fade, the solace won't abide,

Leaving the soul exposed once more, yearning for a place to hide.

Oh, the tears that stain the silent nights, cascading down like rain,

Each droplet holds tales untold, of heartache, loss, and pain.

The world may never truly grasp the secrets locked inside,

The desperate plea for understanding, a plea to find a place to hide.

And in the depths of loneliness, a broken spirit weeps,

Longing for a gentle touch, a love that softly seeps.

For in the tender arms of solace, a wounded heart may heal,

A chance to mend the broken pieces, to find what's real.

So, let us reach out with open hearts, and offer tender grace,

To those who seek a hiding place, a shelter from life's chase.

For in our empathy, they may find the strength to turn the tide,

And finally, find the refuge sought, the ultimate place to hide.
