A Perfect Storm

Palm Trees and a more than subtle Breeze

Illuminated by a glowing moon,

Time stood still in paradise.

We and nature alike, in tune;

In this moment to watch the sun’s demise,

The angry sky opposite the joyous tide,

Yet unprepared for the rain’s dance,

Nature’s distractions amplified,

In awe of the darkening expanse,

What started as crunching of feet in sand,

To conclude an adventurous day,

Now taking shelter on dry land,

With the harsh water and wind try to wash us away,

While others are concerned for thereafter,

We are nothing other than filled with laughter.
