Eclipses are brief, but happen often these days:
Conversation that isn't about you
Laughter that isn't at your jokes
I smile in the real sun, forgetting your smile
Perhaps one day you won't be the first thought in my mind.
Something new will come; the pain will be
Eclipsed by the joy of living without you.
