May your love chase away the gloom,
Afterall, life is supposed to be good, isn’t it?
May your light illuminate the room.

May you trust yourself, so that you bloom,
You need your strength now, so that you are fit,
May your love chase away the gloom.

May you stop longing for your tomb,
Life if worth it, please do not quit,
May your light illuminate the room.

May you stop only seeing the doom,
Instead, look, wonder at nature, at spirit,
May your love chase away the gloom.

May you one day be my groom,
Indeed, for you, that is what is writ,
May your light illuminate the room.

May you understand our love will resume,
Take this time to find your merit,
May your love, always chase away the gloom,
May your light, always illuminate the room.
