May you stop only seeing the doom,
Instead, look, wonder at nature, at spirit,
May your love chase away the gloom.

May you one day be my groom,
Indeed, for you, that is what is writ,
May your light illuminate the room.

May you understand our love will resume,
Take this time to find your merit,
May your love, always chase away the gloom,
May your light, always illuminate the room.
