I don't need an answer

When it's written in the smile on your face

And seeing that is good enough for me

I'd rather have you in my life then see you fade away

Even if it breaks my heart

I don't want to run away from the pain

Because I know it's real

I've tried to write you off once

Alas it didn't last

So, I ended up back at square one

Romanticizing over a woman that has a boyfriend

Yet at the same time I don't care you have one

Sadly, eventually I'll move on

We'll meet other people and go our separate ways

Wondering what could have been

Regretting things, we didn't say
