A letter to time.

Dear old man time

By Peter RosePublished about a year ago 1 min read

Dear old man time,

I have nearly run my race,

but you keep your eternal youth.

While I have lines around my face,

and have lost many a tooth.

The sands run faster so it seems,

the bottom jar is nearly full.

Essays I have scripted in reems,

Did you ever read such bull?

This letter may be my last,

But you get so many lives to view.

You rushed by me so fast.

So I guess you only read a few.

So now I bid you adieux,

and sign off as you know who.
