Dear Love,

I must admit, I once despised you so

I saw you as a weakness, a feeling to forgo

I deemed you as a folly, a waste of time

And I believed that only fools would call you divine

But then I saw how you could heal and mend

Broken hearts, that seemed beyond repair, you tend

I saw how you could bring joy and light

To even the darkest of souls, who'd lost sight

And slowly but surely, I began to see

The beauty and power, that lies within thee

I saw how you could make people whole

And how you could touch and inspire their soul

Now I stand here, humbled and in awe

Of the way you can break down every flaw

And how you can turn even hate to love

By filling every heart with grace, like a dove

So Love, I now embrace you with open arms

And I'll keep you close, and safe from harm

For I know that with you, anything is possible

And in your embrace, I'll always feel unstoppable

Yours truly,

Hate

P.S. Thank you for showing me the way

And for helping me find the light, to stay.
