She always sat there looking at sky for so long,

coz she thought that's her home.

The home, she kept on looking in every other being.

The home, she thought will find her.

The home, where she belongs.

She took the flight again being as carefree as she can.

But today, she was bruised.

*****

While everyone thought that she is flying and soaring the skies,

She was wondering if she can rely on those wings.

The wings that were damped.

The wings that were burdened.

The wings that were trying hard for flight.

Sometimes, she paused and looked at sky.

She was not thinking clearly and day was heavy on her.

******

She flew bit higher today and found pilgrim in a cliff.

The cliff where no one could reach or even think of soaring so high.

She felt all alone there as they rightly say, "It gets lonely at the top".

She fell as soon as she hit the floor, she was wounded.

*****

While everyone thought she is relaxing, she put down all her armour and unguarded herself.

After so long, she took a deep breath.

The breath that hit her hard.

The breath that filled hope inside her, the breath that was enough for her to sit upright.

She saw the armour and decided to walk a little without it!

Yes, she decided to breathe and live a little more!

That free ventured bird found solace in her bruises and light in her wounds.

Coz, today, she saw them healing!

Coz, today, she saw herself breathing!
