A Fleeting Contradiction

"I was myself the whole time"

By Faye AnonPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

A walking talking contradiction You & I

We both seek loveAs we can both give unconditionallyWe want to receive loveBut yet we won't take the proper steps to be in love

Is it an irrational fear?Or an unwanted truth? To be honest I think from your actions I have the proofI'm not one to blameSomething neutralA lack of trustGuess you can say it is mutualThat is why you have a backupI'm not about thatOne man & my focus is all there...Why can't it be the same with you?

You were so good with your wordsA crooked gentlemanI knew to protect my mental crownA princessCause everyone's stranger than a strangerBut I'm still disappointed

I had a feeling it would fleet but I never thought this quickly
