A Feeble Word

One simple word. Only four letters long. Used to simplify or label an experience that is indescribable.

Love.

The use of such word varies in meaning. Not just throughout time or between people, but with each experience, spark, situation, and even sentence. To say the word is rather feeble.

Love can only truly be felt and/or shown. And in turn, given and/or seen.

Those variations can be the one-of-a-kind, never again type. The naive, blind, and whole-hearted. The guarded and trickles out kind. The familiar one. The unconditional, yet extraordinary rare. And the inevitable infinity of others not mentioned. Could we classify them or put them into words? Sure, but it would never do it justice.

Although, we will always try for our need of both expression and the fact that Love is worth sharing.

Despite all the feeling, emotion and experiences thus far formidably mentioned, there is more to this simple yet complex word. The bit that really makes it odd and special. The part of it that goes beyond sparks.

Love is a choice.

Feelings will ebb and flow only actualized in 90 seconds or less. Moods will vary. People will change -- yourself included. But it is a choice to see someone's soul through it all and accept and encourage them on their journey despite your own apprehensions, bias, or doubt. Just to exist together in unexpected harmony and provide support for their growth. To catch each other if either fall on their way to wherever they may go.

So this, I suppose, was my feeble attempt to describe an indescribable experience we call Love.
