There is a dinosaur in the kitchen

She doesn't know what to eat

She could chomp down on flora

Or settle for fresh meat

The dinosaur is hungry

So she stomps her feet

Until I come to prepare for her

A plate of mac and cheese

The dinosaur in the kitchen

Is loud and full of glee

And I can only hope

That soon she goes to sleep

The dinosaur has had me up

Since near the crack of dawn

But love my daughter dinosaur

So over her I'll fawn
