A Day in the Sun

the Sun

With sand in our toes and the ocean breeze,

We head to the beach to do as we please,

The sun shining bright, the waves crashing in,

A day at the beach is where we begin.

We run in the sand, build castles so grand,

Collecting seashells and digging our hands,

The water so blue, so crystal clear,

We jump in the waves without any fear.

The sun beats down, and we seek some shade,

We sit and relax with lemonade,

Watching the waves as they ebb and flow,

A day at the beach, the perfect tableau.

As the sun sets low, we pack up our gear,

Feeling content, happy, and clear,

A day at the beach, so much fun,

A day in the sun, our work is done.
