Between beams of moonlight, we dance.
I've memorized the lines of your form so well that I don’t need the guidance of the light anymore -
My left hand finds the curve of your hip without any hesitation,
My right hand rests in that perfect dip between your neck and shoulder as it was made to.
Now that I know you like this,
You exist beyond my eyes, beyond the light, on my fingertips, my lips, my hands.
I know you and your demure dahlias,
I know you and your effortless poetry,
I know you and your ceaseless love.
Through centuries,
And endless oceans of time,
I claim them all.
