The turquoise sea and me

The boat bobbing, anchor straining

Shimmering green palms bathing white sand in grey shadows

Fish darting in reds, yellows, oranges and blues

Sharks dark and brooding, white teeth glinting

Coral jewels hiding, concealing prey and predator

Olive green kelp strands, dancing, waving

White foam curling and churning

Graceful colors, streaming rainbows

Colors bobbing, weaving, living and dying

Sand shifting, rays concealing.

Predatory instincts abounding

Storm clouds brewing, dark and brooding

Ocean swirling and currents creating

Unease amongst a rainbow of creatures

In the world below my boat

And the turquoise sea and me

The boat bobbing with anchor straining

About the Creator

Michael Trigg

I love writing and I think it shows in my posts. I also enjoy feedback, particularly of the constructive kind. Some people think I am past my "best before date" but if that is true, it just means I have matured.
