A child first walk

the best moment for a parent.

Tiny feet, taking their first steps

A child's journey, just beginning, yet

With wobbly legs, and uncertain gait

Their first walk, such a wondrous fate

Holding tight to mom or dad's hand

The world is new, and so grand

Taking in the sights and sounds

Their minds are filled with wonder, profound

The grass tickling their toes

The sun shining on their nose

The breeze blowing through their hair

Their first walk, a moment to treasure and to share

With each step, they gain strength and confidence

Their world expanding, with every instance

And though they may stumble, and fall

They'll always have a helping hand, to catch them all

This first walk, a memory to hold

A milestone, in a story yet to be told

Of a child's journey, just beginning

With the world at their feet, and their hearts spinning.
