I packed my bags, shut the door,
Not sure what I’m heading for.
The world’s the same, but something’s new
A pull toward things I never knew.
I tell myself I’m not afraid,
But every step feels like a trade
Leaving pieces, light as dust,
Behind me in a cloud of rust.
It’s not a leap, it’s more a drift,
A quiet, slow, but certain shift.
No grand arrivals, no clear plan,
Just trying hard to understand.
Excitement laced with fear so tight,
I’m walking toward the morning light.
And though I stumble, though I fall,
It’s worth it just to risk it all.
So here I am, I’m stepping in,
With hope and doubt both wearing thin.
The road ahead feels wide and free
A brand new start, a brand new me.
