A Bit of Chocolate

I have a whimsy

bouncing around inside my head.

Its a gnat of an idea, bothersome......almost, in it’s ability to distract me.

A rather pesky bug of an idea.

Persistant in nature, it is an ember fanned.

Slowly gathering enough heat to burst forth in flame.

Soon I will have to address this growing seed, or put it to bed.

And in addressing this desire, this idea,

I will first have to ascertain it’s legitimacy.

Do I truly want this?

Or is it just a passing fancy, like

“I fancy a bit of chocolate”

Time alone will tell the truth of this particular want

and it’s nature.
