I failed as a mother. This I'll never forget. I did the thing I swore I never would.

I became my parents... in my own unique way. This I would never let down. Then I realized victimizing and shame was not a good look on me. Yes I failed you, yes… I lost you. But deep down, I just couldn't shake this feeling that I can still be better. My mother broke a thousand promises to me growing up. I only had the time to break a hundred to you before the universe said enough. Losing you was what gave me the motivation to be better. So later if you become curious, I'll be here… Ready to do the thing never done for me. Be better.
