The sky was as blue as it was going to get, until summer set in.
The road with its mirage of heat set waves made it hard to see.
Laying in bed trying to nap, it’s no use I can’t hear you breath.
The sun was always there, but only seemed to warm me from certain windows now.
It was never the corner window that faced the corner street that I loved so much.
It was the feeling of you coming up behind, pulling me into you.
No room for misconceptions.
It was everything.
