For The Vocal "Static" Challenge

Introduction
I remember listening to the radio, trying to find stations like Luxembourg for good chart music, but the AM and shortwave signals came with static. Most of the time, you heard what you wanted to hear, but needed to buy the record, as your AM recordings usually came with a dose of static.
Then FM promised us "No Static At All" (as Steely Dan told us in the included song). It was a lie; there was just less.
