So, editing software is great for those who have it and know how to use it. But what if you either don't have the editing software or you simply need to take an interesting photo on the spot?

There are editing tricks you can do, instantly. There is editing that can be done before taking a picture. This involves a variety of setting things up. Of course, there's editing software that can be used after you take a picture. Then there's the way you take a picture "in the moment," that can create special effects or an extra fun picture.

This technique is one that requires a long picture and editing as you take the picture. First, almost all smartphones and most digital cameras have a panoramic feature. This is the feature you want to use when taking your photo. In a normal panoramic picture, you slowly move your camera either left to right or right to left or down to up, depending on your location and what you're looking for.

But what if you get creative with this feature? In this example, we will move the camera from left to right. First, explain to the people in the picture to pose on the left side of your frame and not to move. Then you start your picture. As you move the camera, as soon as the people are out of view, you keep moving the camera very very slowly and the people will quickly run to your left and around your back and place themselves back in the scene to your right.

Then you continue to move to the right until you again capture those same people in your panoramic picture. When you examine the photo after, your participants will be in the same photo twice.

You can get fun and creative with this, with different poses.

For example, in one of the poses the people can be posing for a picture and in the second frame, those people are taking the picture. This allusion makes it look like they're taking their own photograph.

It can also be fun to create a photo where you're having a dragon ball-style battle with yourself.

You can use natural settings, like a sunset or sunrise to create your energy ball.

So, don't wait to edit your photo later, edit your photo "in the moment," and have instant gratification. Then you can jump for joy over how happy you are with the results.

Bonus photography trick or another way to do editing "in the moment," for instant results.

How can you take a picture like this...

And change it into a picture like this...

Or a great photo like this...

And turn it into a photo like this...

Or like this...

Or just a plain scenery shot like this...

This editing trick, requires two phones, with one not turned on, or some other type of mirror or reflective surface.

Hold whatever you're using as a reflective surface right up next to your camera, covering up the bottom half and align the reflection until you get the results you want, and then snap your picture. I guess you could say this is kind of editing before your picture. lol

So, edit in the moment and minutes after your photos are taken, you can enjoy them. The more great photos you take, the more you'll be jumping with happiness. :)

Bonus number two.

Consider perspective, or the angle that you use, to take your photo. Take for example the following photo.

It's a good photograph. But what if you changed your perspective? Putting your camera close to the ground and then take your photograph. This angle dramatically changes the way the photo looks.

The jumping photos in this post were done this way. Changing how you take your photo is another editing tool that can be done "in the moment," to give a great photo instantly.

Try changing your perspective to get some great photos. Edit "in the moment" and have fun.
