Backyard Chickens
During the months of about March-June you can walk in your local feed store and you can hear little cheeps from the cute little chicks that have been shipped to the store. I mean, who doesn't love baby chicks?? I feel like nobody can resist those cute little babies, but that is one of the biggest reasons I feel like people buy them unprepared.
Nicole McClurePublished 4 years ago in PetlifeTwo Golden Nuggets
If you had asked me two years ago, “Katie, would you ever have a cat?” I probably would have laughed. Now, I have two. Two beautiful golden nuggets of joy that I simply cannot get enough of. Every morning I wake up to their purrrrs and every night I fall asleep to their cuddles. I’m sure everyone says this about their own pets, but I believe I have the most amazing cats in the world. I am officially a crazy cat lady at the age of 30.
Katie ShayPublished 4 years ago in PetlifeMy Groundhog, Ciabatta
After the untimely passing of our last tabby cat when I was 12 years old, my father decided there would be no more pets living in our household. No more new felines, no more cockatiels, not even a hypoallergenic dog that wouldn't affect our allergies. His primary reasoning for the ruling was a materialistic one. If we got a new animal, no matter what it was, it would tear up our living room furniture - just like the cats did.

Alan RussellPublished 4 years ago in PetlifeAdorable Baby Animals
All babies are cute and adorable, and baby animals are no exception to it. Many animals have oddly specific and lovable baby names too. Maybe you are already familiar with puppies, kittens, calves, cubs, etc. But we will also look into some of the animals whose baby names are uncommon to us.

“I own a Pit Bull, It’s a lifestyle. I’m on a mission to fight bad reputations and stereotypes. I am an advocate. I stand up for their breed and it’s a priviedge”—Pittie Chick
Learning to Race in the Rain
I didn’t know if I was ready to review The Art of Racing in the Rain. I read the book a few years back, and it became one of my favorites. Truly, Garth Stein’s novel of the same name is one of the best books ever written. When I saw they were making a movie adaptation, I was thrilled, and ready to see it.
Endurance Riding–Allaskar’s Scout
My name is Emily, and I am an endurance rider. I have been hooked on this sport since my first ride when I was 11 years old (almost 18 years ago). And I’ve been involved in the sport for far longer. My grandmother was the one who started the obsession, quickly followed by my mother, which makes me a third generation to be enjoying endurance riding in our family.
Emily Notting-HillPublished 5 years ago in PetlifeWays to Keep Your Pet Happy and Healthy
Anyone who has ever owned a pet will say the same, but a pet is more than those three letters; they’re another living being, they’re a furry friend, and they are unquestionably a part of the family. Like any other friend or family member, you wish them a long, healthy life full of happiness and love. More than that though, taking care of them is a huge part of helping them live the life you know they deserve. To keep them happy and healthy starts with the little things like feeding them and making sure they get enough exercise, but it is also grooming, cuddling, hemp-based CBD products, spoiling them, and the number of other ways that set you apart as a premium pet owner.

The event happened on March 10, 2019. It was on a very cold Sunday morning that the racers of the Ivakkak race were scheduled to arrive at the finish line in the village of Inukjuak where I am now living for most of the year. Luckily for me, I have the weekends off, so I was able to go see the racers make their final stop after two long and intense weeks of traveling through the harsh winter sceneries like tundra and blizzards.
Celestin TurbidePublished 5 years ago in PetlifeKeep Your Pet Fit and Fed with the Wagz Smart Dog Feeder
The reason most pet owners are anxious to leave their house for any reason is because they are worried about their furry friend at home. Sure, a couple hours over the weekend and there's no doubt they'll be fine (so long as you've trained them well), but when you think about a day trip to the beach or an urgent meeting running over your normal work hours? Now you might be running into some trouble.
Morgan E. WestlingPublished 5 years ago in PetlifeWhat to Know About Pygmy Hedgehogs
Pygmy Hedgehogs are so cute, right? I think everyone can agree on that. But how difficult are they to have as a pet? Well, from personal experience, I can answer with an affirmative "extremely difficult"! Correct information on them can also be very hard to find as they're such an exotic pet; however, here I will outline the main things to consider when owning one of these little cuties.
