It's been said that people that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life.
"Ms. Kitty Fit's"
Ms. Kitty Fit’s by Billi Lynn Holt She is still hanging on through much adversity in her life, Ms. Kitty, is an aged female feline of 15 years but you could not figure it to be because of her delicate size. Ms. Kitty is a longhair Maine Coon breed. She is not the typical size nor has a sour temperament for a Main Coon cat. Her physical weight is under nine pounds, and she still resembles her size as a kitten. As she ages without the outward appearance of years of life that has been bestowed on her, Ms. Kitty’s supernatural spirit glows from within and warms our family’s hearts. It’s as if she was destined to remain in our family’s life for a long, long time and not change the purity and innocence of her being. When we initially volunteered to bring her home as an angel of our pet family, she was the runt of the litter and covered in dried excreta. As she was introduced to her new family, into a gentle bath she went, coming out as fresh as a daisy.

True love starts with self! That's what I kept telling myself anyway until it finally sunk deep enough within me, that I actually started to love me authentically, but I hadn't even realized yet that I needed a therapy animal to help me become the true me.
Cat and Mouse.

The following is a mostly-true tale of a running experience. There are many people that I notice, even at 6:30 in the morning! I say “mostly true” because I like to imagine the possibilities of a situation, even if I don’t know the outcome or background of certain circumstances.

I believe that cats understand the 5 love languages to a certain degree- Acts of Service- They hunt and gather when they think their humans need some help, and they stand by when we're upset and shouldn't be alone.

The hunt begins! I am stealthy. I am cunning. Quietly, I make my way through my kingdom. Searching for my prey without their knowledge, they are no match for me. Unsuspecting they live, never knowing, then, at the last moment, they see me strike. Their lives are ended by me, helpless to fight back, they submit to my wraith. I am their darkness. The ending of existence. My name is Bob.
Shadow and His Funny ways
When I was a little girl, at the ripe age of nine, I got a cat. It had been some months since my dog got loose and was hit by a car. It was my first pet and I was heartbroken. Every time someone mentioned his name or showed me his picture, I would cry. I lost my first furry best friend.

Murphy
Meet Murphy. The St.Patrick’s day baby, hence the name. My cousin runs the local rescue where I got him from as a kitten. He was already named when we got him but “Murphy” really did seem to work for him so it stuck.

Halloween is always a big deal at our house, and everyone always gets involved, and that means cats, ferrets, dog etc. Everyone gets treats, if they dress up, and that means a costume portrait for a treat, time permitting. It is always a busy time for us too, with celebrations and festivities. And, sometimes entertainment events. I have taken to putting together a fancy table spread of goodies for spooky movie watching snacks and fun. Pets are never left out of the fun no matter what, they get holiday themed toys, treats, and love to watch me prepare for the festivities. They are constant companions and loyal devotees.

As cats go, my Chloë was on the small side. And, nearing 20, she had become frail and wizened. She was so skeletal despite her huge appetite that I often feared I might break her with an errant step or by picking her up in just the wrong way.

Tsuki is quite the superhero. She arrived on the scene when we needed her the most this summer. Our fluffy kitty companion of thirteen years suddenly got ill and passed away at the beginning of the summer. It left a massive hole in our lives and hearts. Our home felt empty and despite knowing that she was no longer with us physically, we would often search for her. It was a difficult transition. The end of July came around and in waltzed Tsukihime, the nutty, tiny kitten with a massive personality.
