Extra large carp

After Australia was flooded with camels and kangaroos on land, the aquatic life was also flooded, and the local government was forced to come up with a brilliant plan. The local government came up with a brilliant plan to throw a chip-implanted Asian carp into the Taramasalata River and announced that whoever could catch the carp could be rewarded with one million Australian dollars, equivalent to about RM 4.66 million. Attracted many enthusiasts jumped to try, they caught the fish and will kill the fish to find the chip, that can effectively eliminate the carp.

Australia always comes up with such "clever" ideas, as I wrote before, they install locators on camels too to hunt them down, and when they return to the herd, they send helicopter gunships to kill them all. This time, they installed chips in the carp to attract people to destroy them, and many people asked why they didn't poison the river. The carp invasion of the river is not the only carp, there are much local fish, that would have been crowded to survive, and poisoning is equal to self-destruction.

Asian carp is a collective term that refers not only to the carp we often talk about but also to other species of fish common in China, such as silver carp and grass carp, collectively known as Asian carp. Why is there often news of carp flooding abroad? In fact, in the last century, the United States has several freshwater rivers suffered a crisis, the water appeared with a lot of green algae, artificial simply can not be managed, and has seriously endangered the local freshwater resources, because there is no way, it was introduced from China and other areas of a variety of Asian freshwater fish species such as carp.

At first, the effect was obvious, carp grass carp, an omnivorous fish, quickly eliminated the local green algae, effectively purifying the water, and later Australia and other parts of Europe followed suit. When they were still proud of themselves for making the right decision, they suddenly found that there were also many Asian carp in the wild waters. It turned out that because of the hurricane weather and the spread of the river, the carp had escaped their original ponds and entered the wild waters, which revealed that the carp had an equally amazing ability to reproduce.

With no natural enemies of carp in the freshwater realm of the United States, few local people, and no one willing to eat freshwater fish, in just a few years, carp have quickly taken over many wild freshwater rivers with their amazing reproductive ability. Generally in about 3 years, carp can reproduce, and with no one endangering them, the largest carp can live for 40 years. They eat all kinds of water plants, and the larger ones also eat small fish and shrimp, resulting in less and less space for native fish to survive.

There are other species, such as grass carp and mackerel. The largest of these fish can grow to hundreds of pounds, so imagine how many native creatures they will eat in their lifetime. After the American carp flooded, it also spread to other countries, such as Canada and other areas, making them suffer as well. Canada has also come up with the same method of implanting microchips in a hundred carp to attract people to come fishing and get each chip worth 10,000 Canadian dollars, equivalent to about 50,000 yuan.

The United States has also come up with a lot of ways, they held a shooting carp competition, but failed, but also used electric shock, and later found that the carp is dead, but the native fish also tragically wiped out. In the long struggle with the carp, it was discovered that the carp were growing incredibly large, and there were even people who caught a carp that weighed about 300 pounds, equivalent to the weight of three adult women.

One can't help but wonder why they don't eat carp. In fact, in our country, many wild carp are becoming less and less, relying on farming to meet the appetite of our people, carp alone will eat 300,000 tons a year. Not to mention the Yellow River carp, there are hundreds of ways to cook it and it makes people salivate just thinking about it. It also has to do with the local diet, they won't eat freshwater fish and they can't do it to get rid of the earthy taste and tiny thorns. It is rumored that there is another reason that the freshwater was polluted by the industry in the 70s in the early days, they think that they can not recover for decades, the locals dare not eat, in fact, so long ago there is no effect.

Since no one eats them, many carp salvaged can only be tragically discarded or fed to other animals. The state has spared no effort to offer a reward and ask for help to eliminate the carp but still cannot catch up with the speed of carp reproduction. To this day, there is no effective way to control them, and they continue to proliferate throughout Europe and the United States.
