Do you feel like your life is perfect exactly the way it is with no changes? Well if you said no, then you are amongst 100% of people who feel like something can change in their lives. Realistically, we all want to change or upgrade something in our everyday lifestyle. This could be financial freedom, more romance, an all-expense paid getaway, a new expressive wardrobe, or even a healthier diet. As humans, this is a completely normal reaction. We are chemically designed to seek bigger and better opportunities for ourselves. We can all imagine ourselves laying next to the beach on a warm breezy day while enjoying a carefree vacation, or riding in a brand new, luxury sports car as the wind brushes past your hair. Statistically, 100% of people want a better life, 5% will try, and 1% will succeed. What percentile will you reside in?

As you may have heard," The decisions we make today will affect our future." If every decision you made was going to determine where you will be within the next 5 years of your life, wouldn't you be more specific and careful about what you choose? Of course, you would. This is why one of the key ways to start your new year and post-quarantine lifestyle is to begin to build new habits. I know that building new habits may seem scary or you may not know where to start, but that's not true. Scientifically, it takes 21 days for your brain to build a pattern or habit. 21 days is three weeks, which is merely less than a month. If we make no changes from today, we all know where we would be within a month. What if I told you that the bangin' body that you want or the luxury resort beach trip that you desire can begin with a 21-day habit?

One of the best habits to build in your life is goal setting. Goal setting has changed my entire life and allowed me to unlock secrets that many people do not know. By setting goals for yourself, you may begin to understand that you have a higher purpose in life. There are numerous benefits to effective goal setting. Setting out to achieve your goals can provide a clear path in your life and allow you to stay focused, especially during the lowest moments. It can help you replace those feelings of being anxious or overwhelmed with day-to-day life with certainty and mental clarity. We can all agree that it feels amazing to finally accomplish a goal that we set out for ourselves. You may even say that you feel on top of the world. When applying goal setting to your everyday lifestyle, you will begin to see yourself climbing the ladder of success and living out the desires that you have imagined for yourself, or even better.

Overall, goal setting helps you to achieve a healthier, abundant life in a realistic timeframe. The best thing about setting goals is that it is uniquely designed to fit you and your dreams. How you decide to do it, is completely up to your individual learning style. There is so much opportunity for you to achieve greatness in your life and it can start will the decisions you make today. If success is in your plans, then effectively learning how to set goals will help you to overcome your current mindset and navigate you to the things you may have never believed could be possible. So I will ask you again, "Will you be ok with being in the same place in 5 years?". If you still answer no, then it is time for you to set out to obtain your heart's desires. There is no goal too big for you to achieve. With the right attitude and proper preparation, you can change your entire life today.
