Why People with Favorite Hobbies Should Consider Having a YouTube Channel

YouTube is a platform that I never thought in a million years I would ever consider using or posting videos on. I was always the kind of person that liked to watch videos, and while I still do that, the thought of sitting down to make a video kind of sounded a bit boring to me.

Until I started making videos for fun.

I thought it would be fun to start a YouTube channel, to create a platform where I can voice out my thoughts on how I feel about horror topics or even give out my own personal opinions on other random stuff. Ever since I started the channel, I ended up creating a mini audience for my channel, and I've been really looking forward to making more videos.

It's so relaxing to sit down and just talk about horror, a niche that I have come to love over the years. The best part is that the horror genre is endless. I have gone over horror books, movies, television shows, videogames, or even movie trailers that have caught my interest. It's kind of like I'm speaking with a friend about this stuff, but in reality, I'm speaking to people online, through a platform where people can click on any random video to watch.

And to make things sort of funny, I do like to bring in 'guest stars,' in my videos sometimes.

By 'guest stars,' I mean my stuffed animals.

Yes, I have stuffed animals that I interact with during the videos, and they even have names. It's nice to be myself during the videos, and I really enjoy when people leave comments on my videos, wanting to talk about the random horror topics I go over.

The only downside to having a channel or any other platform for that matter is the negative comments people like to be leave. Why people take the time to do this is kind of strange, but it's just something you have to get used to over time. My suggestion is to never take these negative comments to heart, because the one thing I always remember, is that these people are most likely jerks in real life, so they take the time to even hurt someone online, just for the hell of it.

I would rather watch grass grow, and that would probably be even more fun than being an ass and leaving a dick comment for the person to stumble upon.

Anyways, I think that people who have a favorite hobby should consider creating a YouTube channel. It can be time consuming, but in the long run, it's definitely worth it. I understand if people can't make time for a channel, but if you can, it would be cool to talk about your personal thoughts on your favorite topic.

It's also so awesome to know that there are multiple horror fans out there in the world, and it's so fun to interact with them whenever they leave their own thoughts on the horror topic I'm talking about.

I get that not everyone can make time for a project like this, but trust me, once you get started, it's impossible to stop. It becomes a very fun thing to look forward to every week, and it feels good to let out your thoughts on something that you really enjoy. Sharing how you feel on something that you love with the world is great, and I think that for those who are interested in doing something like this, should consider creating their own platform to talk about the niche that they adore.

Having a YouTube channel is fun, and it's great to share my love of horror with the world!
