The "Power" you give your mind, robs you blind

How we think is so important. What we think about ourselves, and our lives can be the difference between happiness and misery. Mental health professionals have known for a long time that prayer and positive thinking help people to change their thought patterns.

In this article, we will discuss how to change the way you think in a chaotic world by using prayer and positive thinking. You can also share these tools to help others who may be struggling with their thoughts.

It's no secret that the world is in a chaotic state. Everywhere we turn, it seems like there's something happening that we don't agree with or that causes us stress. It's easy to let our thoughts be controlled by the events happening around us. We can start to believe that we're not good enough, that we'll never be happy, or that the world is a terrible place.

When we have negative thoughts like these, it's important to remember that we have the power to change them. Just because we're thinking of something doesn't mean it's true. We can choose to think positive thoughts instead.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Matthew 5:9

One way to do this is through prayer. When we pray, we're talking to God and asking for help. We're also asking for guidance on how to change our thoughts. Prayer is a powerful tool that can help us to see things from a unique perspective.

*Using the Mind in a Positive Way

Another way to change our thoughts is by using positive affirmations. These are statements that we say to ourselves that help to change the way we think about ourselves and our lives.

For example, some positive affirmations that can help with mental health are

  • "I am worthy of love and happiness,"
  • "I am capable of achieving my goals,"
  • I am surrounded by people who love and support me.

When we say these things to ourselves, we're changing the way we think. We're telling ourselves that we're worthy of good I am worthy of love and happiness. I am strong and capable. I am loved and supported.

*Adopting healthy practices to break negative habits

When we do these practices with God involved it changes our lives in so many ways. It begins a series of positive events to emerge in a beautiful way. Releasing past events can be a meaningful change for our mental health. We start the morning off by thinking about our past and what went wrong. Never focusing on anything we experience that went right?

Here are a few tips we can practice changing the way our mind works.

  • Make a list of things you're grateful for each day.
  • Start your day with positive affirmations.
  • Talk to God about what's going on in your life and ask for guidance.
  • Spend time with people who make you feel good about yourself.
  • Do something nice for someone
  • Limit the amount of time you spend on all social media platforms
  • Limit the amount of exposure you consume to "World News"

Having a starting place is key when learning how to change the way we think. Our thoughts create our reality. If we want to change our lives, we must start with changing our thoughts...

The thing is, we can't control what's happening around us, but we can control how we react to it. When we change our thoughts, we change our lives. Try out these tips and see how they work for you.

Remember, you're not alone in this. God is always with you, supporting and guiding you. Trust that He has a plan for you and that everything will work out in the end. Have faith and be grateful for what you have. These things will help you to change the way you think and lead a happier, more peaceful life.
