What's Your Perspective?

How We Can Change Our Perspective and Become More Positive

By Sam GossPublished 6 years ago 3 min read

It is a widely known fact that our subconscious likes to keep us safe and when we go through the day, lots of messages come to us in our thoughts to advise us what to do.

We do not need to be our thoughts; we can step in and change the message when these messages start to appear in our mind. This is when we can change the perspective and use positive questions to allow us to develop the thoughts and find a more positive way of looking at our thoughts and ideas.

The questions in our mind determine the focus of our perception, and this is when we need to change the type of questions so that we can create more positive feelings like happiness, joy, and love.

It is very easy to get sucked into negative questions which pop into our heads especially if we are tired or down. We can keep asking ourselves negative questions. Questions like, 'I can't do this': This question assumes that a) there is something to be done and b) you can't do it.

When questions like this come along, your mind will not know the difference between that fact that this is a thought and might not be real. So, your mind then believes that you can't do this.

So, instead, when a question like, 'I can't do this,' comes up, ask yourself, 'How can I easily make this work?' This question tells your mind, 'how easily you can make this work?' Also, this will make your mind understand that there are a number of ways to make this work. You can do this easily and your mind will start to find other ways of making the question you have answered work. Your mind will start searching for other ways of making the thing you're trying to work.

  1. Remember questions direct your focus. This will allow you to focus on what you are trying to achieve.
  2. When you focus on something, the law of attraction will bring more of what you are focusing on into your life. So, focus on the positive.
  3. When you get questions in your mind, make them more empowering. If you get a negative one, stop, change it, and put the positive form of it there instead.
  4. The more you can do this, the more you will find you can put positive empowering questions in the place of the negative ones.

It takes at least 14 days to change a habit in your mind. If you spend at least 14 days creating positive questions as soon as the negative ones appear, slowly but surely you will find that the positive ones take over.

So, spend two weeks with more positive questions like:

'How easily can I make this work?'

'What straightforward ways can I use to move this project along?'

These types of questions will open your mind and allow you to move forward and your subconscious mind will start to find more ways of sorting out the situation you wanted to change.

If you are just being overwhelmed by the situation you are in, but asking yourself 'How easily can I make this work?' you will start to find new ideas come to mind and you can start to find ways to let yourself change what you would like to do.

When you unlock your subconscious mind, it will be able to help you find the different ways of moving forward.
