What is the Law of Attraction...?

Even if you do not have someone to talk to about your current experiences there is a common thread between us all. When we are faced with a change in our lives, a move, losing a job, losing friends and loved ones, or the change in a relationship dynamic we can unearth emotions that have long been untouched. The other side of it is that some people even you reading right now may not feel that you have anyone to talk to during this time that is safe and that you feel like you will not burden with your experiences that may not feel like sunshine and roses.

We are all very clear of the negative feelings that seem to cling to us like lint! That may be sadness, hopelessness, shame to name a few. What is the negative belief that likes to buddy up with you? Name it out and write it down in your mind or on paper. This feeling seems to shape how we walk into life especially when there is pressure, money, survival on the line. In dire situations, it feels automatic to sit even closer to the harmful beliefs that make us feel even worse. You are reading this from someone who has felt so many rock bottoms that you would think that I live in Bikini Bottom ( Spongebob Reference ;) )

After listening to some sage advice about the Law of Attraction from Briana MacWilliam, she offers some help that I will share. Name the opposite of your negative feeling. Shame transforms into Empowered, Stuck would turn into Growth, and Pained would morph into Pleasure. This word is like our guidepost, we know that we are walking onto the path of what we want when we can name it and conceptualize it. When we can name what we want, just like when you map out your day you will call those things into your life aka the law of attraction.

WARNING!!!

Creative expression can still hold you in your position of feeling negative!

If we continue to relate to those feelings to who we are then they will continue to be common themes in our story. If you listen to sad songs, if you write stories or poems or songs about what you feel that you are lacking you are constantly attaching what you do not want to yourself. It is that deep!

Our limiting beliefs need to be addressed in order to keep the positive beliefs that we want to develop.

It does not matter what caused your limiting beliefs, but they can change for the better whenever you name them and reframe them! You can be the master of your own life. I can say that you can't change the facts of what happened to you, but you can use healing modalities like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and eye movement therapy to be the author of your past. When you work with someone who is committed to your healing and also to helping you creatively see how you could be the author of your own story you can unearth the areas that you really want!

In this way, there is a happy cure because you can see that limiting beliefs are not facts they are just beliefs! We choose what we believe is our reality and it is perfect to evolve and believe new things about ourselves as we transform into our highest selves.

After we can distance ourselves from the old beliefs we can rewrite what we want to believe, what happened in our past, what our truest desires are without being bogged down by the ways that we were socialized or brought up that may have been disempowering. It is not your fault if you are in your first rock bottom, your tenth, your 300th rock bottom moment. You can still attract the love that you want, the feeling of life, and the reality that serves you.

So use that positive belief as your guide, and start to rewrite your reality. If you have the faith and a little bit of patience I promise you will make it!

Much Love To My Readers <3<3<3
