We All Have Bad Days

I bring you a little reflection, something that I have understood throughout my growth and emotional development and that helps me to better handle the bad moments in my life.

Human beings move between extremes, in continuous contrast, black and white, day and night, happiness and sadness, life and death, good and evil.

We have to bear in mind that the existence of one without the other is impossible, because if the bad day did not exist, we would have nothing to compare it with and it would cease to have any meaning, just as without death life would have no value.

We say that something is good because we compare it with something that is not good or not so good.

Having understood this, let's go to the subject I was going to deal with...

Black days, shi*** days

We have all woken up at one time or another with absolutely no desire to do anything.

Those are gray days, in which everything bothers you, you jump at the slightest touch and you answer in a bad way even to the people you care about.

Days of pessimism, in which you rethink everything and sometimes even think about sending everything to hell, days when you do not know if you see the glass "half full" or "half empty" because you don't care at all about the glass and its contents.

We make faults to ourselves and to others, what were once small flaws become complexes and we don't like the image that the mirror gives us back.

And the worst thing is that while many times there is a reason behind it, in many others there is not, you may have slept and rested well, you have eaten properly, things are going well in general and nothing bad has happened to you, but you end up having a bad day, a really bad day.

But like everything else, bad days also end.

Good days, sunny days

On the opposite point, there are days that also for no apparent reason, we wake up wanting to eat the world, full of energy and ready to fight against all unforeseen events.

Days when you look out of the window and feel like shouting: - Today is my day and no one is going to ruin it up for me! :D

Days when you wake up with a smile on your face and a good feeling in your body, when we see the glass and we don't care about its content, because we value the fact of having the glass.

Days in which it seems that everything goes well and what does not go well, at least we see it in context and with its real importance, we do not exaggerate it and we understand that we are not perfect and that our failures make us human.

And don't forget, good days also come to an end, make the most of them!

Conclusion

If for any reason we have a bad day or a bad stage we have to think that it is something completely normal and that it is something that sooner or later will end.

It is common that we ourselves worsen the situation by letting ourselves get carried away by pessimism, and we sink deeper into the well, we can not fall into this dynamic of self-destruction.

We have to fight against this negative feeling until the bad mood has passed.

Run away from the negative feeling, stop listening to that music that depresses you and that only worsens the situation, take your time to assimilate the bad feeling and do not put pressure on yourself.

Leave the house or stay at home, but only if you really believe that it can help you. We should never take relevant decisions for our life in this state, it is better to wait to have a cold mind and to be able to think clearly.

And we can apply the same with the good days, if you wake up and see that you are lucky enough to have a good day, make the most of it because like the bad days, the good ones are going to be over too.

We should not make decisions that are too important for our lives, letting ourselves be carried away by optimism and good vibes, leaving aside our critical and realistic character, because there are situations in which it can backfire on us.
