Train to become more positive

Some days it's not easy to have a smile on your face, but when you do show it I'm sure people end up smiling back at you.

Bullet Journal to bring around.

You can never really tell who’s secretly upset at the world, under a lot of stress, or going through a rough patch in life. Maybe you’re that person and that’s why you clicked onto my article today. If you are, I just want to tell you that everything is going to be okay.

I understand that having a bad day can also go on for endless days. Where this rain cloud follows you when you wake up and as you go to bed, but I’m here to explain that you can change it. I believe that life is yours to control and not anyone else's. I believe that no one can determine how you’re feeling and it’s always been up to you to change your life. Changing your life requires risk, if you don’t endure risk itself then you’ve never really experienced life at its fullest. Maybe today will be different, or tomorrow, but don’t tell me you’re going to delay it because of empty reasons. Stop telling yourself these empty reasons and start getting up because you’re worth more than this.

Habits are a good way to start, I don’t mean the bad ones, but replace them with a positive one instead. Don’t let bad habits get to you, they may be the cause of you slowing down. Here’s a list of positive activities I just want to share with you. The small things matter and we can start there. There’s no specific order, but when you’re ready, I highly encourage you to try them out.

Turn off your cell phone, your Netflix & social media

We all get sucked in and I’m also guilty of it, but you need to turn them off for at least 30 mins (Go for an hour). Being in the present and in the moment is more of a reality than someone you see online. Maybe start when you wake up and write down some things you’re wanting to do today.

Go for a morning walk

If you already have a dog, make it a ritual to go for a full hour & not just a 5 min piss on the lawn. Get your friend that lives nearby and make a goal for both of you to get up and start breathing the fresh air. Make it a goal in your week to finish this task, you'll notice how soothing it can be when you finish your walks.

List your hobbies

I think the best way is to google all types of hobbies, print it out and cross off hobbies you may not like, and circle the ones you do like. Another idea is to make a mood board for your hobbies. It’s the artistic side of you that needs to be explored too. Get creative your own way, you can always find inspiration online.

Give yourself some credit

You need to start encouraging your thoughts. You need to start telling yourself that you can do it. That sounds silly, but it works. Manifesting to believing that you can do a project, getting that promotion, etc. Boosting the words of affirmation helps you discover yourself and it can heal the brain from the toxicity you use to believe in.

Engage in physical activity

Physical activities are important in your life. It keeps your body running, reducing your calories, and overall being healthy. It doesn’t have to be intense, you just need to start somewhere. An easy 10 min stretch doesn't hurt, then make it into a goal to touch your toes or do to the splits. Join a class that keeps your heart rate up. Take advantage of this so you can live a long happy life.

Get a Journal - Write down your day for 30 minutes

There are so many stationery goodies everywhere. If you spend your time writing down your day it can release a lot more than just what you did. I know when I start to write, my other thoughts also come out and my feelings as well. You can write it down in the morning to see what you want your day to look like or at night when it’s coming to an end. It doesn't have to make sense at all, just start.

Food Log & Count your calories

You don’t need to change your diet, I’m not asking you too. Making a food log helps you understand what goes into your body and what you’re lacking. After a month, start questioning yourself. “Do I need to eat this today? Did I eat too much? Should I start having daily food goals?”

Overall, the small things should matter to you. You’ve probably heard a bunch of these before, but tell me have you tried any of them? If you stay consistent enough, other people will start to notice a difference. It’s always up to you to try new things out because positive should always overcome your mind.

Thank you for reading, I hope I made an impact on your life today. Feel free to donate and to support the content :)
