You don’t have to give up, you just have to put yourself first
New journey as a beginner writer

Naps are healthy, Oversleeping isn't.
Last year felt like a disaster and it was puzzling at the same time. I’ll give credit that half the year was productive and progressive, until the last couple of seasons. I managed to sleep all day long just gazing out the window waiting for some type of signal for help. The excuses I made were ridiculous and as much as I told my significant other, my family, or my friends that I was going to do whatever I needed to do “tomorrow,” I never did or would just push it until the end because I would prefer to sleep it off than to be awake in this reality. Everyone’s been there, but to keep doing it for months, was causing a lot of reasons why my mental health was not okay which also follows with my physical well-being. However, this year is going to be my year to focus and to grow personally while also taking my business to go to the next level. I was just writing in point form what my New Years' resolution will be this year and here are some things I want to point out for you.

Body shaming at its finest
You can understand the title of what that means. You can understand it more when you're the one being victimized. Everyone knows, nobody is perfect, but being close to perfect is more than enough to make someone happier than someone who "isn’t" close to perfect. Body shaming is such a slap on the face especially when you’ve been working on it really hard and still, you’re not skinny enough, your nose is too big, or whatever the case may be. Realistically, you will have some unique side of yourself that you should be embracing because it’s what makes you different. I’m not here to explain to you about body shaming or to make you understand what it truly means, but I’m here to share my experience recently of how it felt to me.

The Classic Wine Drinker
The Classic Wine Drinker As a young rebellious teenager, I drank a lot because it was fun to let loose and have a good time. A good time meant I was going to hurl at a random house or on the sidewalk. Parties were just about hardcore liquor and BYOB'S (bring your own booze). I had an interesting phase back in high school and as I got older anytime I could sense the smell of vodka, it made me gag. Unfortunately, it still makes me uncomfortable to my stomach, so I stay away from it as much as possible.

My Shadow Man Experience
My Shadow Man Experience They say when you are younger, you are more connected to the supernatural. When you have an open mind and an open heart, you will notice some things that most adults can say, “that’s not true, don’t say things like that.” From one of my many experiences, I shared with my mother I was truly devastated that she didn’t believe my story.

What it feels like after quitting my job
It felt like the biggest sigh of relief that I was out of there. My mind was going crazy to even stay there for my last two weeks. I didn't even bother looking at my emails on my last day, but I made it through. I left after working for a company for four years. That took a lot of my years away from the more creative side of myself and into this independent person working a 9 to 5 job. I devoted my life to a working woman who just wanted to work for the rest of my life. It was almost as if I was going to die into that company.

That there's going to be a new norm, an outburst of panics around the world and those who were fortunate enough to keep their job & lifestyle had to be the superheroes.

Open your mind to new skills
It's 2020 and it's been a disaster across the world. It's the year where the world in our generation falls apart from left to right since the beginning of January. Do you even remember one of the first and biggest incident? Well from what I read in the beginning, it was the Australian Bush Fire. However, I'm not here to talk about the world crisis we're having, I'm here to give you reasons why you should be learning a new skill during your stay at home job, unemployment, or your boredom.

i choose my mental health over my 9 to 5 job during covid-19
My initial goal was completed Goal setting is the key to everything, it gets you to focus on what you want and work your way to the things you need to do to get there. Having no goal makes you a bit scattered and might even find yourself lost. Working for a money machine corporation was such an unexpected turn in my life, I didn’t realize I would even consider it. Do you even know what my initial goal was to myself? I wanted to have my own office. It sounds so stupid and silly, but hey, you can’t judge something that I’ve done pretty well for a small goal. My first step was asking, “How can I get recognized to be where that guy was sitting.” And for the last 4 years, I took all the steps that made me get there.
