Well, Whadaya Know - the Big Five-Oh (Oh, Oh)
What I'm Doing Here The subject of Vocal milestones came up in a comments conversation with my friend across the pond, Paul Stewart a few days ago. In that discussion, we both mentioned that we had one "right around the corner." Neither of us gave anything away at the time, but I'm going to put mine out there today, and I'm late in doing so.
Dana CrandellPublished 7 months ago in MotivationThe Secret to Achieving Your Goals: Don't Tell Anyone
OK... Want to hear a whacky theory that will change the way you view life? Of course you do, that's why you're reading. It’s a simple idea that I’m going to make even more simple by using cartoons, just like a very serious person would do in a Ph.D. paper. Probably.
Jamie JacksonPublished 7 months ago in MotivationI had no purpose
~AUTHOR'S NOTE: I did not write this piece with the intention of being included in any contest or category...I simply, truly felt compelled to share this message. SO, I apologize if it does not meet appropriate guidelines but I did categorize it to the best of my "feeling" at the time! Finally, there may be misspellings, punctuation errors and more (which I usually CRINGE HEAVILY at) but this was written from the heart, so none of that matters...
Jennifer Lorraine - Bloch McGeePublished 7 months ago in MotivationHow to Move to a City You Don’t Want to Move to
Three weeks ago, me and my soulmate moved home. Though sometimes it feels more like a wholesome Air BnB owned by somebody who has pinched all of our belongings and filled it with our existential innards, rather than “home.”

This summer was the opposite of what I thought it would be. I thought I would have fun and be the happiest girl. I planned to go watch movies, stay up late, discover new places and so many other things. My brain seemed to have other plans for me. Pretty much on the last day of work I started to feel my mind go numb as well as my feelings. By the time I got home I fell into my bed and stayed there for the rest of my vacation. I could not find the energy to leave my bed, let alone my house. Mentally I decided to give in to my numbness and ceased to speak or feel any emotions. It was peaceful yet scary for me to find myself so cold and unfeeling. I accepted my new reality and wasted my summer away.

Oneg In The ArcticPublished 9 months ago in MotivationFrom Astrophysics to OCD: The Role of Space in My Life
Ace, isn’t it? Space. It’s in the name. But it’s no spa. I’ve got a degree in it. And a mental health issue that tore open wormholes within it. And people I love scattered all throughout and transcending it. But if you ask me what space is, I couldn’t tell you, because it’s not really even a thing.
