TIPS ON HOW TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT EVERYTHING
Worrying doesn't take away tomorrow's problems, it's takes away today's peace" Worrying is a complete waste of time. No problem has ever been solved by worrying about it! "Worrying is like a rocking chair It gives you something to do But never gets you anywhere!" Makes sense right? People get struck in this loop of worrying especially in a pandemic like this. They get paranoid about what they touch, what they eat and who they talk with. It's understandable given the fact that the virus has viped half a million people off this planet. But worrying about this isn't going to solve our troubles right? Let's look at the top worry remedies

People get struck in this loop of worrying especially in a pandemic like this. They get paranoid about what they touch, what they eat and who they talk with.
It's understandable given the fact that the virus has viped half a million people off this planet. But worrying about this isn't going to solve our troubles right?
Let's look at the top worry remedies:
1)ANALYZE YOUR WORRYING:
There are two questions that you need to ask everytime you are worried
What am I worried about? What can I really do about it?!
Maybe you are worried that you would lose a year if schooling in this pandemic. Maybe your higher education plans are messed up cause of pandemic and visa rules. Maybe you are worried about your or your loved ones health. Maybe you are worried about losing your job.
So what can you really do about it?
Come up with a course of action. Study harder? Prepare better? Be healthier?
Come up with a plan to solve the problem rather than worrying! Actually go ahead and make three plans of action and choose the best one!
LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE WORST CASE SCENARIO:
Imagine the worst thing that could happen to you if everything went wrong.
If the worst case scenario isn't death, you can learn to adapt! Right?
This technique actually works well for me. So what if you lose your job or if you can't travel abroad to study?
You are still alive, and you can come back to the place that you are right now, if you put in the work and hustle harder. Right?
The moment you accept the worst case scenario, you really have nothing to lose!
HERE ARE THE PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH WORRYING:
1) CAN'T THINK CLEARLY
Worrying is basically you letting your fear in right?
And with so much fear and anxiety holding us by the throat, what can we really do to think clearly?
Our judgements would be clouded and we jump to conclusions and we would end up losing!
2) DESTROYS YOUR CONCENTRATION
Again,how can we really be focused when our minds are being bombarded by thousands of worrying thoughts?
Our focus is gone the moment we start worrying!
Here's some other tips about worrying:
1)HAVE WORRY PERIOD:
Allocate a small portion of your day : half hour where you get to worry about stuff.
Why is this necessary?
Despite the methods that I mentioned before, most people find it extremely hard to stop worrying.
So this gives them a way to vent out their emotions which can also work well.
So, allocate half hour of your day everyday to worry about stuff. But other than that time,you need to be completely working on solving those worries!
2) MAKE A WORRY LIST:
Again this is for people who couldn't follow the first two techniques I mentioned.
What worry list does is this :
Once you have written down all your worries, there's nothing new for you to worry. You are already aware of all the possible problems. And you also get to worry about it in your worry period.
This can free up your mind and help you think clearly and focus on whatever needs to be done.
