5 pm! Still got 5more hours you til the end of the day. Looking through the glass doors surrounded by brown material that costs a lot of money. Nothing but people wearing masks and cars going crazy. Traffic everywhere & yelling pedestrians seem like a very busy afternoon.

Waiting for something to happen I plunder in silence. While the world outside keeps moving, a spark arises. A moment of distraction to separate one from the word. A satisfying moment passes. Stuck in silence one waits for the next thing. The next obstacle or action to manifest. Stuck in silence I feel surrounded the heart of everything but yet feel nothing in the process. Just an everyday person doing a job. To what end? A cycle of continuous fight & obligation to keep going in search of meaning. Still, silence follows.

Seeing the world without distractions becomes a life of consequence. Detoxing seems like an opportunity to restart the mind. Restart the brain of reliance & obligations. Learn to focus on self & build on discipline. Not having to feel like you’re behind everyone else. Forcing yourself to control your reactions for the sake of your own sanity & acceptance. The idea where being in silence can drive a person to insanity but instead, be at peace with oneself.

Going cold turkey & drastic changes to form good mental clarity can be tricky. Being in silence brings anxiety & fear into the forefront of your reality. Thoughts become questions & insecurities begin to fill your being. The power of silence can be as strong as the voices of many. Like darkness, silence is the absence of sound and without it, one can descend to madness.

Silence can be embraced but for reasons to find an end. The concept of silence means to expect nothing & to be in the presence of the unknown. To find trust in the presence of yourself & to let the world pass by. With distractions being so easy & the fear of missing out so weighted, it’s very difficult to find the peace in silence. To slow things down is to move at your own pace. Not to be altered by the rush of society but the movements of who you are.

Silence challenges you. It forces you to deal with the only thing there, you. It has you question your decisions & your thoughts. You go through your mind of things that’s been troubling you & what makes you smile. Feeling like self-therapy in away. The feeling of checking yourself & your mental state for clarity & affirmation.

You try not to go crazy thinking too much but sometimes you end up where you need to be. Silence is just as important as sound. Both providing their own benefit. Sometimes it’s ok to just be silent because we can find and explore what becomes of it.

Searching for silence is not hard to do a lot of times. Sometimes you can just separate yourself from the space & give yourself time to just be. Similar to meditation you find a guide to keep you on track but there are also times where you just need to let your mind wander.

You travel through your thoughts like a cloud with a weight hovering over you. Feelings of whispers & the mind wander. Fear of silence feels so unnerving to go through. To just be there feeling bored without nothing to do. The feeling of recklessness & lack of control takes over & centers the mind.

We learn to practice self-control & understand the path to our inner peace & struggle for a better life. We fight for happiness & forget to be present and live in the moments. Silence helps to slow down the world around you & be in a state of “peace”. A state where there’s only you. Journey on to a better you & use the power of silence to discover your truth & grow strong from it.
