The little black notebook

Once upon a time there was a boy named Jacob. He was 15 years old. Jacob was one of the 10 smartest kids in school. Jacob always kept a little black notebook. No one has ever seen what was in the notebook, Why he always kept it.

One day Jacob went to school and met up with the cool kids. One of the guys named Beck, wanted Jacob to do his homework for him and he would pay him. However, Jacob turned him down. Beck wasn’t too happy about that. So Beck decided to threaten Jacob, Beck said “If you don’t do my homework tonight, and I don’t have it back by tomorrow Moring. Your going to be sorry”

So Jacob took Beck's homework and told him he would have it for him tomorrow morning. Beck and his friends smiled and laughed and continued on with their day. At the end of the school day, Jacob sat at the table outside writing in his black notebook, waiting on his ride to come pick him up. Jacob got home and started on his homework along with Beck’s homework. Once Jacob was done, He laid down on his bed and started crying. Because Jacob knew what was coming to him the next day. Jacob finally fell asleep after hours of crying and writing.

The next day: Jacob went to school, Beck and his friends were just standing there waiting for him. Jacob looked back at his mom, with a sad look on his face. Jacob told his mom I love you and got out the car.

As Jacob walks toward Beck, His heart starts to race, He looks back and realizes his mom is gone already. Jacob starts to feel nervous. Becks walks up to Jacob and asks if he has his homework. Jacob slowly hands Beck his homework. As beck snatches it out of his hand and shoves him a little. Becks says “Thanks nerd” And walks away. As Beck walks away Jacob feels a little relieved. Shortly After their lunch period Becks walks up to Jacob standing at his locker and pushes him hard up against the locker and tells Jacob. “You got me an F punk.”

Jacob replies “ You could have done it yourself, You might have had a better chance.”

Beck tells him “You just wait till after school, You're going to regret making me look like a fool in front of the whole class.”

Jacob starts to get really nervous and anxious, Jacob's heart starts to race, His body is shaking as he walks to his next class. As Jacob sat in his next class, The teacher noticed that he wasn’t focused and looked nervous. The teacher walks up to Jacob and asks “Jacob, Everything ok? You seem a little unfocused”

Jacob replies, “I'm fine, Mrs. Smith, Just tired.”

Mrs. Smith smiles and replies, “ Well If you need to talk I’m here!”

Jacob gives a fake smile back and looks down at his notebook. Shortly after the last period class, Jacob walks to the bathroom to hide from Beck. However, Beck still Manage to catch up with him. When Becks see’s Jacob he wastes no time. He tells his friends to hold Jacob as he punches and kicks Jacob until he starts to cry and calls for help. As Beck hears the teachers rushing down the hall. He tells Jacob “You better know next time not to screw up my homework you idiot and run out the bathroom. Before the teacher even realizes Beck and his friends were there. The teachers finally arrived but they couldn’t figure out who beat Jacob up, Because Jacob wouldn't tell them anything. So they waited with Jacob until his mom came and got him.

When Jacob got home He sat in the corner and he cried and cried and cried, asking why everything that was happening to him was bad? Jacob had taken a razor and started cutting his arm to ease the pain emotionally. His parents had no idea what was going on with Jacob, Because Jacob never talked about it. He always wrote it down in his black notebook.

Finally the black notebook: Jacob wrote all his feelings and hurt and pain into his notebook. Jacob had been struggling with depression, anxiety, and being bullied for the longest. His parents gave up him for adoption when he was just a kid. Jacob never had anything go his way, Everything was falling apart for Jacob, He felt hopeless, Unloved, Unwanted, He was Bullied at school and no one ever knew about it. Jacob had even written a sucide note. Until one day coming home from school he had gotten so mad he started punching the walls and found $20,000 in his wall. Jacob was confused as to how it got there but he didn’t think twice about keeping it. Jacob took that money and invested in it.

Jacob now at the age of 18, is the CEO of a multi million dollar company. Jacob was able to provide for his family and make his family and his new friends that he made along the way happy which made him happy. Jacob finally realized that good things do happen to those who wait and have patience.

Beck on the other hand, was able to realize that bullying was not right because he got a taste of his own medicine when he was 16 and had to move and switch schools. Now Beck has written and published a book about why bullying is wrong.
