How to become motivated to become the best version of yourself.
Everyday Things to Be Grateful For
One of the key components of attracting positivity into your life is experiencing gratitude. Often, we fixate on the things that we don’t have rather than celebrating the abundance that surrounds us each and every day, which can throw us into a vicious cycle of feeling and attracting a lack of or less than we would like. Below, I have compiled a list of 10 things that most of us can feel grateful for this very moment.

Making a Change
Why can making a change be so difficult and yet, we all seem to change so much year to year? Have you ever tried your hand at a new lifestyle or hobby or mindset and failed but then you look back on yourself a year ago and realise how much your life has changed? When I think back to the last year, the last 5 years, even the last 10 years, I have a hard time relating to the person I was. Things have just changed so much and I didn't even try.

The Unspoken Side Effects of Your Twenties
Your twenties are full of changes. Scary, fun, exciting, and anxiety provoking changes. And often times our control over those changes are extremely limited. I mean the chances of winning the lottery, limited. In your twenties you will probably face employment scarcity, career opportunities, pregnancies, weddings, life disasters, huge life milestones, and amazing new adventures.

Get Up and Rise
I wouldn’t say I ever had the “shine” part down of that whole, “rise and shine” thing growing up. Though, with the seasons of my life ever changing, so do my sleep patterns. Over the last couple of years, I've become more inclined to rise with the sun, enjoy my quiet time, and set my intentions for the day. This really developed in the fall of 2013, when I was embarking on a much less exotic, but just as muggy and invaluable, version of Eat, Pray, Love.

How To: Go Back to School at Your Very Best
As someone who attends a highly competitive school with less than 500 students total, I get my fair share of depressive emotions that make me want to dwindle into another world as the beginning of the year inches closer and closer and my summer of doing nothing slips away.

How to Get Motivated: A Review from Experience and Pro Tips
We’ve all had ups and downs. And sometimes when you’re down, you feel like you can’t get anything done, like you’re always tired and simply don’t want to do anything but lay in bed, watch Netflix, and eat your body weight in snacks.

How to Be More Optimistic
For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In life, balance is one of our universal truths. We see balance in everything: up/ down, in/ out, black/ white, birth/death, inhale/exhale, cause/ effect, the list just keeps going. No matter how an equation is spilled out—the answers are equal on both sides of the equal sign. Balance: how the world keeps spinning. People say “Karma’s a bitch” but at the end of the day, that’s just things coming around full circle. I can bet that you’ve had struggles in your life, some people more than others. I can also bet that you’ve had some fun and joyful times as well. Here’s the bottom line: the energy in this universe is balanced. Positive/ negative. Did you know that smiling releases dopamine? Action/reaction. If I speak into a cave, you know what’s echoing back? Those same damn words. If I’m playing golf and I think “Do not hit it in the water on the the right,” my mind won’t register the “NOT” and I am definitely going to be dropping a ball. My mind thought it into existence. Let’s talk about a few ways that will help you be more optimistic and in turn give you daily happiness and progression in your life.

When You Don’t Know Where to Start
Very few times in our lives do we truly believe we are stuck somewhere in the middle. Of course, that is the phrase we choose to apply to our feeling of digression, but I argue that we’re never just in one place—we are either moving forwards, or backwards.

The Perfections in Our Differences
Has anyone ever told you “nobody’s perfect”? I’m here to tell you that they’re as right as they want to be. Whatever it is that makes you different is the very thing that will make you stand out and shine over everyone around you. It’s like when someone sees something so interesting and so different to the point where they like it. Perfection is just imperfections embraced to a higher level of self-acceptance. Whether you have a quirky look to you, an oddball personality, or even an unpopular way of living. I highly encourage you to embrace that very thing that makes you different. I know it may seem like a difficult or potentially painful task. But putting your insecurities on the table will reveal the truth. The truth of your insecurities will bring the truth out of the people around you. If you do this you’ll know who really has your back. You’ll know who your real friends are and who your real family is. Some of you might lose it all. Going from hundreds or thousands of friends to maybe one, two, or maybe even zero friends. Just keep in mind these are good people and you are not alone on this rock. Even when you’re feeling the least amount of support or guidance that you’ve ever felt in your entire life. You’re still not alone. Over every challenge is a better life. Use your insecurities to see the truth in your life. Use what makes you different to stand out. Pursue what makes you happy. What makes you happy is your passion. Your passion is your ticket to your dream life. Follow it, no matter what anyone else says. They don’t see what you see. They don’t feel what you feel. This is your life, not theirs. If you want a happy life, then don’t just dream about it. Write it down, then look up the steps to get there. Anything is possible in this world. So pave the path you’ve always wanted to walk. Your dream is reachable and waiting for you to claim the throne to. Go out and make it happen. You have one life and the only person that’s actually holding you back is yourself. You have a beautiful dream and it’s achievable.
