The Lost Art of Writing
In a world of technology, it seems we are losing the art of the written word. Can you recall the last time someone sent you a letter or left you a note? Looking back, I cherish the notes and cards written by my grandmother years ago. They're all I have left of her now. When I take them out, I can still hear her voice, see her beautiful handwriting, recall her perfume. She took moments to send these to me, and they are now some of my most precious possessions.

The Science Behind Making and Breaking Habits
So this morning I woke up at 4:30 this morning—What The Fedunkerary!! Why? Who knows… but one minute I was dead to the world, and the next I was awake and alert as a meerkat on sentry duty! I could have rolled over and attempted to snooze until my alarm went off, but I knew I’d wake up later feeling groggy and disorientated—don’t ask me why, but it happens every time.

Finding Your Flow State
What’s one thing that all professional athletes, musicians, artists, writers, and anyone devoted to their craft have in common? They have all achieved a ‘flow state’, which is difficult to relate to unless you are fully immersed in terms of what you are pursuing, and you truly enjoy what you are doing. The flow state is elusive for most people, because they either haven’t found their passion in life, or haven’t put the time in yet to get better through consistent practice or play. The flow state is a higher state of being, because for a point in time, your concentration is matched with your intensity, producing a beautiful result.

6 Notes of Encouragement For the Blossoming Writer
1. If writing is your passion, then do not stop pursuing it. Even when you feel like you are not improving, even when you feel like you have lost inspiration, even when you feel like "maybe you weren't supposed to be a writer." And I say "when" (not "if") because you will have moments like these. But it's in those moments that you must write. Even if it's just one sentence. Or write about how you are feeling. There is always a reason to write, there is always something in your brain that needs to be said, to be shared, to be written. Don't ever stop writing. It's your passion. Your adventure.

How to Be a Badass in Life
I often feel like I play too small in life like I am hiding my true potential under a bush or something, and I am rather afraid of letting my light shine in all its glory. I used to think it was okay, and that it was a good thing to hide my light, to play small, in order to not intimidate or frighten others away.

How to Manifest that Dream Job
If you're like me, you know just how hard it is to get hired, especially at a job you really want. Constantly with the interviews and the online applications, I was so confused as to why I wasn't getting employed anywhere. I would find myself saying things like "I'm never going to find a job," or "I guess I will never have money again." I didn't believe in myself, because at this point I was desperate, I had cards that needed to be paid, people that depended on me. Basically, I was holding myself back with these horrible affirmations.

How To:
If you're anything like me, mornings are a no go. I hate waking up early... well, let me rephrase. It is soooooo hard for me to wake my brain up in the morning, and get into a good mood. Later on in the day I am thanking myself for getting up that early, because I was able to get so much accomplished, but getting motivated when my eyes first open, and it's before eight AM? Count it dead. Not happening. Try again later. BUT I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO GET THERE, granted some days are harder than most, but if you want to know how I conquered my mornings keep on reading:
